About our company
Sigma Mathematics Academy has been developed as a result of a frustration of being unable to find a workable, affordable and impactful solution for Maths tuition for a friend’s child.
A clear gap in the solutions online led to a belief that a solution needed to be created.
So why us? Unlike some competitors, Sigma Mathematics School is set up around for following beliefs:
Everything we do stems from Educational Research. Click here to see some of the Educational Research.
Taught by qualified teachers with degrees in Mathematics or a very closely related field.
Native English Speakers develop our courses.
We have a maximum class size of 15.
We use Zoom to deliver lessons, a very stable platform with very few technical issues that can arise from custom-built software.
Affordability is a strong belief of ours, therefore, our courses are priced accordingly.

“Andy is an excellent Tutor. He has helped my daughter and son with their Maths. My son has become more confident in doing his Maths at school and is ahead in his class. Andy has lots of patience and kindness, and a fun way of doing the class.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Andy at an international school a few years ago, and I was always struck by his professionalism and the depth of knowledge he brought to his teaching. Whether I was observing one of his classes or chatting with him about our subjects—mine being English literature—Andy consistently showed a real passion for education and a strong grasp of his field.
During that time, Andy also taught my son maths. My son had always found maths challenging, but he really connected with Andy’s teaching style. Andy's varied methods and engaging classroom presence made the material much more accessible, and it was great to see my son start to gain confidence in a subject he’d previously struggled with.”Matthew said:
“Andy has been tutoring my daughter for around 18 months in preparation for her upcoming exams after we sought his help due to her low confidence in maths. My daughter and I cannot recommend him enough and are looking forward to some great exam results due to his help.”

“After trying private tution with several other Maths tutors for my son. Andy was a blessing in disguise, he understood the skills gaps and learning style my son needed. Andy has been my sons tution coming up to a year now, he has shown a massive improvement in his maths since and continues to do so.”

Andy is amazing, we're so glad to have found him for our 14/15 year old.
Andy is so welcoming, calm and supportive during every session.
Our daughter is much more confident in her learning and getting improved grades in her assessments. We would 100% recommend Andy for tutoring.”
